Photos shared by Cambridgeshire Constabulary show the aftermath of a crash which happened on the bridge between Huntingdon and Godmanchester yesterday afternoon (Thursday, December 7).
A person had to be cut from one of the cars after a crash with another car, and the bridge was blocked.
The photos show that the two cars collided on the bridge, with both cars hitting the wall of the bridge, causing it to crack.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “One person was taken to hospital but there were not believed to be any serious injuries.”
The bridge currently remains closed to all traffic.
