A person had to be cut free from their car after a crash with another car yesterday afternoon (Thursday, December 7).
Cambridgeshire Police were called to The Avenue in Godmanchester at 3:42pm with reports of a collision between two cars which left the nearby bridge completely blocked.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “Officers attended together with paramedics and firefighters and one person had to be cut free from their car.
“One person was taken to hospital but there were not believed to be any serious injuries.”
The bridge is closed this morning (Friday, December 8) so it can be assessed for structural damage.
