World-renowned performers from Covent Garden will be bringing spectacular entertainment to Huntingdon town centre on Saturday.

The performers are some of the world’s best street entertainers having impressed crowds around the world, from television and film appearances to Cirque du Soleil, headlining international festivals and breaking Guinness World Records.

On July 25, The Black Eagles, originally from Tanzania, will show off their acrobatic skills. They have appeared all over Europe at festivals such as Womad, Glastonbury, The Royal Albert Hall, Canary Wharf, The Queens Jubilee, the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, Blue Peter and many more. The following Saturday (August 1) it is the turn of the unique and completely unforgettable, Bendy Em who has headlined international festivals all over the globe.

On both Saturdays, the Wendy Burke School of Dance will be live and showcasing their talents. The school has had great success this year with the competition squads winning several trophies and medals from various competitions in jazz, modern, hip hop, contemporary and lyrical

dance styles.

Alongside will be those much-loved regular entertainers, Dave the Balloon Man, and the popular face painters who paint for free.

The event has been organised by Huntingdon First/BID Huntingdon and runs from 10.30am till 2.30pm on each day.
