KINGS, queens and fairies will bring magic and enchantment to a Huntingdon stage.
The Vienna Festival Ballet company present Sleeping Beauty at Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre on Wednesday, October 20.
With stunning music, scenery and costumes, the ballet is set in a magical fairytale kingdom and is ideal for the whole family. Based on the much-loved children’s book by the same name, it tells the story of a young Princess called Aurora. Cursed by the wicked fairy Carabosse, Aurora pricks her finger and falls into a deep sleep for a hundred years. She is woken by a kiss from Prince Florimund, who, guided by the Lilac Fairy, overcomes Carabosse’s obstacles to find true love.
