Mark Wahlberg stars in the thrilling drama Deepwater Horizon (12A) based on actual events.

In April 2010, one of the world's most devastating man-made eco catastrophes took place when BP's Deepwater Horizon rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. It led to a massive oil spill and 11 people lost their lives. Mark Wahlberg reunites with Lone Survivor director Peter Berg to play electrician Mike Williams in this compelling and inspirational action drama charting the 48 hours leading up to the disaster.
