The Hunts Post has compiled a list of the finest displays taking place in Cambridgeshire to guarantee this year’s bonfire night goes with a bang.

KIMBOLTON

The spine-tingling multi-coloured extravaganza of Kimbolton fireworks returns on October 31 with more to offer than ever before.

The highlight is the fireworks spectacular set to the beat of rousing music, which is billed as one of Europe’s biggest pyrotechnic shows.

GRAFHAM

Down the road at Grafham the annual display gets under way on November 3 at Grafham Village Hall.

INFORMATION: Display starts at 7.15pm. Tickets �4 adults �2 children.

CAMBRIDGE

Not to be outdone, the skies over Midsummer Common in Cambridge will be illuminated on November 5 as the university city blasts off bonfire night in style.

The show starts at 7.30pm and additional fun will be provided by Thurston Family Fun Fair, which will run between 6pm and 10pm.

INFORMATION: Entry is by donation, and a �1 donation per person is encouraged.

ST IVES

Bonfire night in St Ives will be celebrated on November 3 by a dazzling display at London Road from 5pm. The bonfire will be lit at 5.30pm, with the display starting at 6.30pm.

ST NEOTS

St Neots Black Cat Radio will be hosting this year’s firework festivities at Eynesbury Rovers Football Club on November 4.

In addition to a spectacular display of the finest fireworks there will be a licensed bar and an array of hot and cold food and drink stands.

INFORMATION: Gates open at 5pm and display begins at 6pm. Family ticket (two adults and two children) �10, otherwise adults �4 and children/concessions �2.

HUNTINGDON

Coneygear Park in Huntingdon is the place to be for this year’s fireworks extravaganza.

INFORMATION: The display is on November 2 from 5pm.

YAXLEY

Yaxley Scout and Guide display takes place from 6pm on November 3 at the Three Horseshoes, Main Street, Yaxley. Family tickets �10.
