The Jockey Club Live and Newmarket Racecourse has announced that Paloma Faith will be headlining Newmarket Nights on June 22.

With her acclaimed Number One album The Architect riding high in the charts and a BRIT nomination for Best British Female, Paloma Faith will be bringing hits old and new to the racecourse this summer.

The singer returned to the charts in 2017 with The Architect, following the huge success of her 2014 album, A Perfect Contradiction, which spent 29 weeks in the Top 10 Albums Chart, 66 weeks in the Top 40, and 100 weeks in the Top 200. The new album is currently on course to become her fourth double platinum album in a row – which would make her the first British woman in chart history to achieve this incredible feat.

Newmarket Nights this year will see headline performances from James Blunt (June 29), Craig David (July 20), Plan B (July 27) and George Ezra ( August 17) plus The Vamps headlining the popular Summer Saturday Live on August 25. There will be further artist announcements in the coming weeks.

Amy Starkey, regional director (east) of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “We are delighted to announce Paloma Faith as the next act in our Newmarket Nights line up for 2018. With her fantastic back catalogue of hits I have no doubt she will put on a superb show.’

Tickets will be on sale at 8am on February 2 via thejockeyclublive.co.uk. Tickets are priced from £31. In addition to Newmarket, The Jockey Club Live
