A fundraising event will take place in Buckden on Saturday in support of the Parkinson’s UK charity.
Lucie Clough, who organised the event, said: “Parkinsons is a condition close to my heart. I love someone very special with the disease and have had first-hand experience of seeing the daily challenges of the disease and realise how much we all take things, such as being able to move with ease, for granted. I hope this event is a fun day for families and that we can raise some money.”
There will be family activities and a barbecue and the acts playing at the event are Lucy Lock, Midlife Crisis, Negative Split and Sleepwalking.
Tickets for the event, at The Vine, from 4pm till 11pm, are £5 for adults and £2 for children and all ticket sale money will go to Parkinson’s UK.
Tickets are available from The Vine, OneStop and Nisa in Buckden or from Lucie Clough on: lucie.clough@hotmail.co.uk.
