Summer music concert returns to the Offords
THE beauty of summertime is the variety of musical events taking place across Huntingdonshire – and the Offords are leading the way.
Last week saw the annual OMG on Millenium Green, and July brings with it the fifth, fabulous summer music concert.
The event takes place in St Peter’s Church and heralds the return, by popular demand, of acclaimed singers Morag McLaren, Theresa Goble, Michael Dore, Brian Parsons and Michael Robinson.
These stars of the musical stage are no strangers to raising the roof of the sleepy Huntingdonshire village, as all have performed at previous concerts, appearing also on BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night and in the West End.
The concert is a show-stopping celebration of music featuring classics from the world of opera, musical theatre and everything in between.
The acoustics of the beautiful Norman Church lend themselves to a truly brilliant sound so why travel to London’s West End when you can enjoy world class entertainment on your doorstep?
