Two young dancers from Stageworks Studios in St Neots are celebrating after securing places at prestigious national ballet schools.

Emma Williams, 10, sailed through her audition with the English Youth Ballet and is now set to perform alongside professional principal dancers in a full length classical ballet production in March 2017.

Meanwhile, Ben Whittaker-Brown, aged six, has only been dancing for a year and has been offered a place on the esteemed Young Dancers Academy Associate Programme, which encourages the development of young talented students in classical ballet training.

Rebecca Pigg, teacher at Stageworks, commented: “We are extremely proud of both Emma and Ben. Their natural talent has always shined through in class and they worked extremely hard ahead of their auditions. We’re delighted to see that hard work pay off and are looking forward to hearing all about their experiences on these excellent national programmes.”
