This magnificently macabre new musical comedy is created by Jersey Boys authors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. It features an original story, and its every fathers nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that wasnt upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something hes never done before keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesdays normal boyfriend and his parents. VAMPS was formed in 1961 as the St Neots and District Operatic Society, but changed its name in 1993 to reflect the musicals and variety concerts that they now perform. Each spring and autumn, the company stages a popular musical or a variety show. The Addams Family production runs from November 12-14 at the Priory Centre and performances are at 7.30pm, with a child-friendly show on Saturday at 2.30pm.
