St John’s Church in Somersham will be holding its annual Christmas Tree Festival this weekend.
Refreshments will be available in the form of hot soup and bread for the lunch period on both days, with mince pies, cakes, tea and coffee at all other times. There will also be stalls selling homemade Christmas cards, Somersham calendars, homemade jam, marmalade and mincemeat plus various other items.
At various times during the festival, a number of different musicians and singers will perform. Admission will be £2 for adults and for children, who must be accompanied by an adult, admission is free. The event is being held to raise money for the church.
The event runs from 10am-5pm on Saturday, and noon-5pm on Sunday.
