IT’S A WINTER WONDERLAND: June Forway and husband, Dick, officially welcomed in the festive season on Saturday with their spectacular light switch-on in St Ives.
More than 100 people turned up to their home at 80 Hill Rise, which was adorned with hundreds of lights – from sleighs to Santas.
As usual, all proceeds of the annual light display will go to charity, with Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund being this year’s beneficiary.
Saturday night alone raised 365.
“When it gets dark we get parents bringing their children to see the lights and they pop a few pennies in the donation box,” Mrs Forway said. “Every little helps and we hope to raise as much as possible for this great charity.”
