Huntingdon’s community will come together on Saturday (June 9) for the town’s annual Riverside Gala.
The event takes place at the Riverside Park and starts at 11am with an official opening by the mayor of Huntingdon Cllr Sarah Gifford.
It features arena displays by Cambridgeshire Police Amateur Boxing Club, Deb’s Zumba, Spiderman and Elsa, Generations Dance Academy, Huntingdon Gym Club, Cambridge Dynamite Cheerleaders, Blue Vision Twirlers and Michelle Gauci School of Dance.
There will also be a fun dog show run by Wood Green, the Animals Charity, with a range of classes held during the day, the Time Truck archeology display, including finds from the A14 upgrade and the MusicStreet stage featuring a host of performers throughout the event.
Organiser Malcolm Lyons said 23 different charities and associations would have stalls, along with commercial stalls and a barbecue, together with a ranger of other refreshment stands.
The gala ends at 5pm.
