Rising stars of comedy to appear at the Burgess Hall in St Ives next month

Get ready for a belly full of laughs when The Jesterlarf Comedy Club returns to the Burgess Hall in St Ives on October 16.
Now in its twelfth year, Jesterlarf has produced some of the biggest names in comedy, including: Micky Flanagan, Sarah Millican, Michael McIntyre and Kevin Bridges. Expect the very best comedians and hottest emerging talent from the UK’s prestigious comedy circuit.
The October show Charlie Baker who’s instant likeability and charming delivery style has earned him a reputation as a superior modern showman. He is a popular face on TV panel shows having appeared as team captain on CH4’s A Short History Of Everything Else, BBC1’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and BBC2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Support comes from observational maestro Mark Maier who is a regular of the world renowned Comedy Store Players, alongside the likes of Josie Lawrence, Jim Sweeney and Paul Merton. A multi-talented, mercurial comedian who retains an edge that still makes him one of the most must-see acts on the circuit.
Plus, one of the rising stars of the comedy circuit Mark Simmons who having won Ch4’s prestigious So You Think You’re Funny and Leicester Comedy Festival New Act of the Year.
