Rhythm at the River in St Ives
Rhythm at the River in St Ives
NOW that Jubilee fever has passed, what better way to relax on those warm, summer evenings than with an intimate musical soiree by the River Great Ouse.
Rhythm at the River is a brand new series of cosy gatherings which are being held monthly on Friday evenings between now and September.
The first event took place last month and featured sensational singer-songwriter Lisa Redford.
With three albums and an international tour behind her, the Norwich native has been championed by Radio 2’s Bob Harris.
The session was a sell-out and the lucky 40 guests enjoyed a candlelit supper in a stunning setting whilst supported by up and coming Cambridge songstress Emily Fraser.
Headliners confirmed for the coming months include acoustic, folk musician Shaun T Hunter, Britain’s answer to Norah Jones, Joanna Eden and pianist Cara Winter.
