The much-awaited third instalment of Bridget Jones Diaries was released on Monday.
Bridget finally seems to have her career on track, but is heading towards the baby deadline, and is tortured by smug mothers reminding her that her biological clock is ticking.
After a series of hilarious encounters, Bridget finds herself pregnant. The scans and childbirth classes all produce high jinx, romance, joy and despair – but all of it is dominated by the terribly awkward question – ‘who is the father’?
