WHAT better way to spend a weekend than relaxing in the sunshine listening to some of Huntingdonshire’s best musicians?
Well you can do just that when the mighty Needingworth festival returns at the end of June for another two-day musical extravaganza packed with some of the best bands around.
Now in its 23rd year this event has become a firm favourite in the festival calendar, and if the weather holds out it promises to be a fun-filled weekend for all the family.
The festivities kick off on Saturday, June 30. Ten bands are earmarked to take to the stage starting at 1pm with glam-rock five-piece Glamtastic headlining the afternoon.
Needingworth W.I. will be serving refreshments throughout the day with all proceeds going to support local Young Carers and the Village Hall.
The village pre-school will provide a bouncy castle for the kids, games, tombola and plenty of stalls.
