This popular franchise returns with some new cast members and maybe slightly disappointing for some fans - that means a new Mr Poppy!
This popular franchise returns with some new cast members and maybe slightly disappointing for some fans - that means a new Mr Poppy.
We are back with the children from St Bernadette’s Primary School, in Coventry, and at this time of year there is always some fun to be had around the annual nativity play. Staff and students are auditing for a coveted place in a spectacular rock musical competition. With the unique feel-good charm of the original film, Celia Imrie reprises her role as headmistress Mrs Keen, starring alongside Meera Syal, Ruth Jones, Anna Chancellor, Hugh Dennis and Helen George. The film also introduces Simon Lipkin as Jerry Poppy (Mr Poppy’s brother) and Craig Revel Horwood as the ruthless show director Emmanuel Cavendish.
Expect lots of slapstick, cute children and a nice, fluffy Christmas ending.
