Fresh from criss-crossing continents with their unique brand of musical theatre, Mnozil Brass are making their way to Peterborough.

The Austrian seven-piece are returning to our shores with their extraordinary shows as part of their 20th anniversary tour.

The ensemble entertain with a fusion of genres, visual comedy, vocal dexterity, and a hefty dose of sheer brilliance on trombone, tuba, and trumpet. They jump between music such as the tunes of Michael Jackson, Eric Satie, Franz Schubert, and jazz group Weather Report.

The group first met as students at the University of Music in Vienna, where they would drink in the pub opposite. From 1993 the boys would play there regularly, quickly learning about the world of showbiz.

Before long, slapstick and surreal comedy found its way into their presentation and the idiosyncrasies of each player merely added to the overall comic effect. The band were soon in demand – their vocal version of Bohemian Rhapsody has been viewed over two million times on YouTube.

No music is too unimportant or serious and no note is too high or low for this preternatural pack.
