IF cutting-edge satirical comedy is your cup of tea, then the arrival of comedy legend Mark Thomas at the Junction will be right up your street.

The multi-award winning comedian and political activist is back in Cambridge after 25 years of success performing on radio, stage and screen, and The Hunts Post has two pairs of tickets to give away to the show.

Thomas was the resident stand-up comic on Channel 4’s Saturday Zoo and a presenter on Radio One’s Loose Talk, before embarking on the hugely successful TV show with a highly political agenda The Mark Thomas Comedy Product that became his trademark.

Following two successful UK tours Thomas decided to expand his horizons . . . by walking the entire length of the separation barrier between Israel and Palestine, the reason, he says, a combination of “interest and devilment.”

The result provided the material for his latest tour and tells the story of 300,000 settlers, a 750km wall, six arrests, one stoning, too much humus and a simple question – can you ever get away fro it all with a good walk?

Thomas, who writes regularly for the Guardian and the New Statesman told The Hunts Post: “The show is about the separation wall and how it’s affected people on both sides.

“It’s a mixture of experiences – some of them great, some of them harrowing, but its essentially about justice no matter which side you’re on”
