The Kaiser Chiefs are the latest act to announce a spot at this year’s Newmarket Nights.

Tickets for the gig on July 15 will go on sale at 8am on Friday.

The band, who also played the venue last summer, will join Busted, The Corrs, Jess Glynne, Will Young and Tears for Fears - and there are still announcements to come to complete this year’s line-up.

The Brit Award-winning, multimillion selling band - led by BBC1’s The Voice coach Ricky Wilson - first shot to recognition in 2005 with breakout hit I Predict A Riot, followed by hits including Oh My God, Everyday I Love You Less and Less and 2007’s Ruby. They released their latest LP, Education, Education, Education & War in 2014, smashing into the Number One spot on the UK album chart on release. Kaiser Chiefs said:
