Comedian Jason Byrne has been thrilling crowds with his unique style for 20 years and has just announced a new UK tour, which includes Cambridge.

His 20 Years A Clown tour starts on October 1 in Colchester and rolls up at the Cambridge Junction on October 17, Arts Centre.

Jason said: “I’ve been doing the comedy circuit for 20 years and I enjoy it more than ever. I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the road; this show will be more energetic and more fun than ever before.”

Byrne’s very own brand of organised chaos and near legendary stock-in-trade audience participation has seen him coined “the outright king of live comedy” so it is no surprise to learn that he is the biggest-selling comedian at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he has celebrated 20 years.

It’s been a busy few years for Jason, in addition to his extensive touring, his Radio 2 show was awarded the UK Radio industry’s prestigious Sony Radio Gold Award.

He has recently hosted a brand new studio-based comedy chat show Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show for TV3 in Ireland and is co-presenter for a new wildlife-themed entertainment programme Wild Things on Sky 1 in the UK.

His TV appearance credit list is endless. It includes his memorable performance at the 2013 Royal Variety Performance, The Graham Norton Show, Live at the Apollo on BBC1 , his own show, Anonymous in Ireland and the John Bishop Christmas Show in 2014. Byrne is also a highly sought after TV regular in Australia.

INFORMATION: Tickets for the show are £18.50 and available from the box office on 01223 357851 or online: www.junction.co.uk
