Huntingdon Drama Club is back with its first production of 2017.

The group will perform Bill Naughton’s play, Alfie, which is coming to the Commemoration Hall, in Huntingdon, on March 30.

Following the story of a loveable rogue, audiences are taken transported to the 1960s as they follow Alfie swaggering through the streets of Cockney London.

It’s not long though, before Alfie realises there are several learning curves he must take, and he soon comes to the realisation that perhaps his playboy lifestyle isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be.

The story has become a firm fixture in popular culture over the years, having starred Michael Caine in its 1966 film adaptation and before Jude Law took up the role in 2004.

The show will run at the Commemoration Hall from March 30 to April 2, and tickets can are £10.

Concessions at £8 and for groups of more than four people, and the first night includes a deal of £5 per ticket for groups of ten guests or more.
