Five emerging bands will take to the stage at The Junction in Cambridge on March 26. The Fiver final – features Waste, Hollowstar, Priority, Embassy and Room C battling it out for the title. Tickets are £6 from the box office on 01223 511511. Doors open at 6.45pm.
Rising local band Hollowstar are back on their home circuit, joining the line-up and their last appearance at the venue was in November, which saw them win their heat, securing their place at this week’s event alongside some of the best upcoming bands in the area.
With only 12 months-worth of gigs under their belt, Hollowstar have garnered some impressive early traction. The title track from their debut EP has held the top spot in the NMG Unsigned Chart for multiple weeks, and the band are now enjoying regular national airplay.
