Where do they meet: Somersham Baptist Chapel at 7.30pm. When do they meet: Bi-monthly - on a Tuesday - the last of the month. How much does it cost: There is no joining fee, but guests pay £3 for each talk. Trips are extra and there is usually a raffle. Do you need any previous experience or special equipment: No, just an interest in the history of Cambridgeshire. There is a varied programme of speakers and trips, including authors and walks. The speaker for May was Kenneth Lewis who gave a talk on World War Two Prisoner of War camps in Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. There was a question and answer session after the talk and then tea and coffee was served. The next meeting is on June 26 and will be a visit to the Chatteris Museum. Cost is £3, meet at the church at 7pm. The August meeting will be a guided walk in Littleport to find out more about the Littleport riots. Meet at 1.30pm.
