A CAST of 60 students will stage Hinchingbrooke School’s spring production, O What a Lovely War.

Comprising students from all years at the school, the production is directed by Tim Wickstead, and follows an archetypical British family through the four years of the First World War.

The cast got an insight into the true horrors of the First World War during a visit from Robina Hodgson of the Imperial War Museum, when they had the chance to try on authentic uniforms, and inspect weaponry and other artefacts, bringing the war vividly to life for them.

The production will run Monday to Wednesday (April 4-6) in the Performing Arts Centre at Hinchingbrooke School.

INFORMATION: Tickets costing 5, or 3 for concessions, are available from the school on 01480 375700.
