A FORMER care worker who appeared on last year’s series of the popular reality TV show, the X Factor is to perform a charity gig in Hemingford Abbots.

A FORMER care worker who appeared on last year’s series of the popular reality TV show, the X Factor is to perform a charity gig in Hemingford Abbots.

Nicole Lawrence will be appearing at the Cambridge Golf and Conference Centre on Thursday, October 7.

The soulful singer, who failed to make it through to the final stages of the reality show, will be playing a 20 minute set.

In addition to the musical performance, guests will also be able to participant in poker, with a 30 minute tutorial on offer followed by games to win prizes.

The evening is being supported by The Hunts Post and is in aid of Young Lives, which is based in St Ives and Peterborough. Nicole lives in Peterborough and is a supporter of Young Lives, which provides a range of support services to voluntary and community organisations working with young people and families.
