A “fantastical map” of Love’s Farm in St Neots will be created during a community project.
The Round House Primary Academy and the Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination group has organised an event on June 30 and July 1, which will see families exploring he local area. The free sessions, from 3.30pm till 6pm on Friday and midday till 3.30pm on Saturday, includes map-making, wildlife information and magical mystery walks, plus hot dogs and cakes.
Anyone attending the event at the Round House Academy is encouraged to bring any curious objects or photographs linked to the community. An exhibition about the project can also be seen at the Love’s Farm Community Centre.
The “fantastical map, will be drawn from the conversations and creative work from the project, by inviting people of all ages to re-imagine the space around them and create a new map of the area.
The team behind the project spent time in St Neots Museum to gain a glimpse of the town’s history and the museum will have a “base camp” with mystery objects table at the event.
