A CHILDREN’S choir is coming to Huntingdonshire to raise money for charity and showcase a lively mix of contemporary African songs, drumming and dances.
A CHILDREN’S choir is coming to Huntingdonshire to raise money for charity and showcase a lively mix of contemporary African songs, drumming and dances.
As part of a UK tour Destiny Africa Children’s Choir will be performing at Brampton Village School this Friday and St Free Church on Saturday.
Last time the choir visited the UK they performed at Downing Street.
Audiences will hear the inspiring sounds of lives that have been given new hope and a new start.
A selection of African crafts and other merchandise will be available to purchase.
Proceeds will go to the Kampala Children’s Centre in Uganda, with the aim of transforming 1000 lives.
The centre cares for children who have been rescued from war ravaged villages in Northern Uganda and who have experienced extreme poverty, malnutrition and abuse.
INFORMATION: Both concerts start at 7pm. Entry is �8 for adults and �4 for children.
