The Father, the winner of France’s highest theatrical honour, the 2014 Moliere Award for Best Play, has been translated by Christopher Hampton and is dazzling audiences and critics alike.

The critically acclaimed play is coming to the Cambridge Arts Theatre, featuring television, radio and stage actors Kenneth Cranham and Claire Skinner.

Once a tap dancer Andre (Cranham) is now living with his daughter Anne (Skinner) and her husband Antoine. The 80-year-old is still wearing his pyjamas and he can't find his watch and he is starting to wonder whether he's losing control.

INFO: Tickets are available from the Cambridge Arts Theatre on 01223 503333 and priced from £15. Performances are at 7.45pm on all days, with matinees on Thursday and Saturday from September 15-26.
