St Neots Sinfonia will continue its 25th anniversary season with a concert at St Marys Church, Eaton Socon, on Saturday, March 7. Its Viennese Evening will include popular works such as Blue Danube, plus other waltzes, polkas and marches. There will also be performances of some less well-known works. The group was formed by Reg Searle back in 1989, and was based at Longsands School. Over the 25 years since it has grown in numbers - with many of the original members still remaining - and taken on increasingly demanding works. Most notably, this included Mr Searles own setting of the Magnificat last year.] It has been marking its anniversary season with a special series of concerts, of which this will be the second. Guests can appreciate these influential classical pieces as the group recreates some of the highlights of his remarkable repertoire. INFORMATION: Starts at 7.30pm.
