It’s time to shake your groove thing with a live music production of hit 70s musical Boogie Nights. The show will be performed by the St Ives Theatre Players at One Leisure’s Burgess Hall from May 20-23.
Based on the classic disco pop musical by Jon Conway with Terry Morrison and Shane Ritchie, Boogie Nights follows the amusing, and somewhat complicated, love lives of a group of six friends. The extravagant show first premiered in Bromley 1997, and hit the West End the following year.
Attendees can expect to groove the night away to some fabulous disco hits including Celebration, Disco Inferno and Boogie Wonderland.
The show is being directed by Michael Burk, with musical director Pat Skinner and choreography by Vicky Grant. The cast includes Nick Thompson, Becky Keane, Trish Fordham and Simon Webb, plus a few other familiar faces.
Information: Performance will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £9 for Wednesday and Thursday and £11 for Friday and Saturday, and can purchased from Burgess Hall reception, by phone at 01480 388500, or visit www.burgesshall.net.
