The Centre Theatre Players present Oscar Wilde’s scintillating play The Importance of Being Earnest.

Described as “a trivial comedy for serious people”, Wilde’s most well-known play satirises the last 19th century aristocracy. Intrigue and romance take place in an atmosphere of afternoon tea and witty banter where pleasure loving gentlemen go to extraordinary lengths to live up to the ideals of the women they love.

The production runs from May 17-20 and doors open at 7pm, for a 7.30pm start.

Tickets are £8 for Wednesday and Thursday and £10 for Friday and Saturday, and available from One Leisure St Ives on 01480 388111 or visit: www.burgesshall.net.
