A night of fun, frivolity and dancing is planned at the Commemoration Hall, Huntingdon.

Ceilidh band Parson's Nose will perform a rousing traditional concert on Friday, March 27.

The band is known for playing with the Heartease folk dance group, which is based in St Neots and has appeared at many Huntingdonshire events.

The audience will be treated to plenty of time-honoured tunes for an old-fashioned knees-up drawing on the Gaelic tradition of holding these types of gatherings.

Organised by Performing Arts at the Commemoration Hall (PATCH), the event is an opportunity to celebrate our rich folk history.

The Hunts Post has a pair of tickets to the show to give away.

To stand a chance of winning, just tell us which family of flowers heartease belongs to.

Answers on a postcard or sealed envelope to The Hunts Post, 30 High Street, Huntingdon, PE29 3TB.

Alternatively, email your answers alongside your name and daytime contact number to competitions@huntspost.co.uk.

The closing date for entries is 12noon on Wednesday (March 25).

INFORMATION: Doors will open at 7pm. Tickets cost £10 from the Commemoration Hall on 01480 455167. A ploughman's supper is included in the price.
