Cambridge Arts Theatre’s spring season is brimming with entertainment for all theatrical tastes.

The line-up features famous faces and award-winning productions and theatre companies and some West End hits.

During a year of high calibre performances, is the theatre’s co-production of Rebus: Long Shadows, from Febuary 11-16. It stars Ron Donachie (Game of Thrones), Cathy Tyson and John Stahl. Based on Ian Rankin’s acclaimed Rebus book series which has dominated the detective fiction market, it has been adapted for the stage for the first time.

Prepare for funny bones to be tickled with an array of brilliant comedy on offer. Direct from its London run and prior to New York, Caroline’s Kitchen, from January 29-February 2, is the searing and witty domestic comedy starring Caroline Langrishe (Lovejoy) and Aden Gillett (The House of Eliott).

Two of Britain’s finest comedic impressionists, Rory Bremner and Jan Ravens, join forces for one night only with special guest Jo Caulfield on February 3. Mischief Theatre bring the smash-and-grab hit The Comedy About A Bank Robbery, from Febuary 19-March.

Cambridge Footlights returns to the theatre on March 10/17 with two nights of hilarious new stand-up.

Matthew Cottle and Charlie Stemp lead the cast in Tom Stoppard’s Tony and Academy award-winning play Rough Crossing, from April 10-13. It tells the hilarious story of two famous, but desperate playwrights stuck on an ocean liner headed for New York.

Freddie Fox and Josie Lawrence star in the multi award-winning comedy Edmond de Bergerac, from April 15-20, in this play, which has taken France by storm now making its English language premiere.

Enthralling and inspiring dramas will be sure to keep you on the edge of your seat this spring with Cambridge University’s prestigious drama group The Marlowe Society bring to life Shakespeare’s feisty romantic comedy Much Ado About Nothing, from January 23-26.

Savagely entertaining and darkly funny, David Mamet’s Olivier Award-winning razor sharp Glengarry Glen Ross, March 11-16, tells the story of cut throat Chicago salesmen and stars Mark Benton and Nigel Harman. Agatha Christie’s rich psychological drama The Mirror Crack’d, March 19-23,

is reimagined for the stage in a thrilling new play starring Susie Blake and Simon Shepherd.
