Busted is the latest act to announce a performance at Newmarket Racecourse this summer and tickets go on sale on Friday.

It’s the reunion that many said would never happen - even the members of Busted themselves - but the Busted trio is back and will be touring this summer for the first time in 12 years. Matt, James and Charlie will be playing all their greatest hits live at the Suffolk racecourse on July 22. Audiences will be able to dance and sing along to unforgettable smash-hits such as What I Go To School For, Crashed The Wedding, Air Hostess and Year 3000. Busted are one of the biggest homegrown pop acts of the 21st Century with an incredible five million record sales, two four-times platinum selling albums and four number one singles to their name.

Amy Starkey, regional director for East of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “We are very proud to announce yet another fantastic act for 2016 and we look forward to hosting the original Busted trio.”

Last year’s award winning Newmarket Nights season saw Kylie Minogue, Spandau Ballet, Tom Jones and Kaiser Chiefs perform at the Adnams July Course, collectively playing to more than 100,000 fans. The season launched with a sell-out performance of 22,000 for Kylie and tickets sold out in a record-breaking 40 minutes.

Tickets will be on sale at 8am on Friday, February 5 at: www.thejockeyclublive.co.uk. Tickets start at £26 adult /£13 child (under 18), but child tickets are limited.
