ST NEOTS community radio station, Black Cat Radio, is returning to the FM airwaves on Monday (May 28).

The station, currently broadcasting on DAB across Cambridgeshire and also online, hopes the FM broadcast will help it secure a permanent FM licence.

Station manager and breakfast presenter, Tony Gillham, told The Hunts Post: “This is a really exciting time for Black Cat. The local community, in particular Councillors Chapman and Farrer, have been incredibly supportive in helping us get the station off the ground.

“We’re hoping that another month on FM will increase our listenership even more and boost our chances of a full-time licence.”
