OUTRAGEOUS rock band Bad Manners visit Cambridge as part of their farewell Christmas tour.
The novelty ska pop band rose to fame and fortune in the 1980s with the entertaining on-stage antics of frontman Buster Bloodvessel.
Despite numerous appearances on Top of the Pops and several singles in the UK charts, the band split in 1987 to re-form only two years later with most of its original members.
Today they still tour in the UK and have a full schedule lined up for the winter period so fans can remember tunes such Lip Up Fatty, Special Brew and Just a Feelin’.
However, Bad Manners have announced 2010 will be their final year of touring, proving all things must come to an end for even the most energetic of performers.
Buster Bloodvessel said: “We became famous for many reasons and have shocked the world since our outrageous Top of the Pops performances.
“It has enabled us to travel the world and make hundreds of thousands of people dance and party crazier than any other band. This Christmas tour will be no different.
“It’s a very sad moment for us but we intend to leave Britain sweating.”
