Artists showcase countryside inspired work in Huntingdon this weekend

Hinchingbrooke Countryside Centre are hosting five of the UK’s best countryside artists this weekend.

There will be an array of painting on display at the centre from artists Sylvia Paul, Penelope Timmis, Tina Bone, Sylvia Paul and Jill Barthorpe.

Organiser Ian Jackson said: “These professional artists will showcase their work inspired by the flora and fauna of the countryside.”

Throughout the weekend including today (August 14) and Sunday (August 16) there will be live demonstrations from some of the artists where they paint masterpieces and talk to audiences about their work.

The artists work will also be available to buy.

The event is open from 10-5pm today and Saturday and 10-4.30 on Sunday. Entrance is free.
