PLATFORM shoes and flared trousers will be out in force when an Abba tribute act entertains audiences in Huntingdon.
The Super Troupers will be performing the hits of Abba at the Commemoration Hall on Saturday (September 4) at 7.30pm.
Formed in 1990 at Sunderland Polytechnic, this will be one of the bands last gigs after announcing their departure from live performances.
The group performs classic Abba tracks including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Waterloo and Gimme, Gimme, Gimme.
Previous gigs include supporting the Bay City Rollers on a UK tour. Since then, the band has gone from strength to strength, becoming renowned as a superb live act, with the rocky edge that Abba became famous for.
They have also toured extensively in Europe, the Middle East and the UK and supported world-renowned artists including Jools Holland, Lighting Seeds, Fat Boy Slim, Buck Fizz and Showaddwaddy.
