Feeling a bit deflated after all the Christmas and new year celebrations?

Why not book some tickets to see a show at the Burgess Hall in St Ives and enjoy some first class entertainment.

The new year programme kicks off with a pantomime from the Centre Theatre players. Join the award-winning theatre group for its annual excursion into the land of fantasy and make-believe. The Players are performing Puss in Boots and the audience can expect the usual sprinkling of catchy songs, plenty of slapstick and a chance to join in with the fun.

Performances run from January 10-14 and tickets are priced at £8-£12 and available from the box office.

The music of the late-great Freddie Mercury and Queen will be celebrated in style with Anthem: The Ultimate Queen Concert Show on February 22. There will be back-to-back hits for the audience for this show, which is also a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the song We are the Champions. Tickets are £20/£18 and are available from the box office.

If comedy is your bag, then get along to the venue for The Jesterlarf Comedy Club night in February. A special gala show has been organised to celebrate the club’s 15th birthday on February 23.

The show features a rare club appearance from comedy superstar and German comedy ambassador, Henning Wehn, plus BBC Radio New Comedy Award finalist and club comic of the year, Tom Ward, plus incredible beat-boxer and deft stand-up Stefano Paolini and charismatic and charming compere Jonathan Mayor. Tickets for the show are £12 and available from the box office.
