Saints U14s win award at Camber Sands

ST NEOTS U14s recently went on tour to Camber Sands to take part in a two-day weekend tournament at Rye Rugby Club.

The team played five games of 20 minutes on the Saturday morning, winning one and losing four – although they did go down by just a single try in three of the games.

Then on the Sunday, the young Saints won one and drew two of their three encounters, before being presented with their participation trophies by England rugby legend Jeff Probyn – as well as winning the team fair play award for that age group.

Other season award winners included David Papworth as most improved player and Ryan Usher as players’ player of the season.
