The Eaton Socon trophy cabinet has received another addition courtesy of a bunch of budding young cricketers.
The Under 9 team continued a fine season for the club at senior and junior levels when emerging victorious in the Huntingdonshire Champions Cup to retain their county crown.
Eaton Socon came through two tough tests as they beat Ramsey by 20 runs in their semi-final before edging out Huntingdon by three runs in an exciting final to complete a treble of honours after also winning their league title and the Waresley Soft Ball Tournament.
Jacob Watling received the player-of-the-day accolade for his displays in the Champions Cup semi-final and final while Luke Ashwell was the Eaton Socon team’s leading run-scorer with 257 during the summer.
