The new generation of St Ives Swimming Club swimmers competed in the final round of the City of Peterborough Mini Meet for eight-to-11 year-olds.

St Ives had already clinched overall honours courtesy of super performances in the opening two rounds and fielded an inexperienced squad with several swimmers participating in their first competitive event.

There were a host of fine individual performances with Luke Tunstall, Olivia Smith, Kiera Mavin, Emma Fitt, Oliver McNeil, Harrison Greenwood, Cleo Bailey, Millie Taylor, Tiernan Stevenson, Ingrid Flynn and Lottie Flynn amongst those to impress.

A 15-strong St Ives senior squad competed in the second round of the Anglian League at Downham Market – and they claimed a second success.
