AN impressive 76 runs from Ely/Haddenham's Hatcher did most of the damage as Yelling suffered a home defeat on Saturday.
Steve Tack bowled well for Yelling, taking four wickets for just 23 runs from his 12 overs but the rest of the Yelling attack failed to shine. Tilbrook (42) and Peacock (14) added to a strong batting performance from Ely/Haddenham.
Topham opened Yelling's response with 38. The second and third batsmen went for just five runs between them before a 27 run score from Brittain gave the home side hope. The Ely/Haddenham fielders shone with Grady taking four wickets and Vincett taking three shone.
Yelling was all out after 30 overs.
