HUNTINGDON schoolgirl Emma White beat the reigning Commonwealth Champion to claim victory at the Women's British Gymnastics Championship.
She took the British vaulting title in Guildford last weekend to secure an incredible victory.
Emma's achievement was remarkable given that she had not even been expected to qualify for the vaulting event.
Huntingdon Olympic Gymnastics Club coach Paul Hall said: "This is an amazing and unexpected result.
"Emma's vault is an incredible achivement - to beat a current Commonwealth champion proves she has a tremendous few years ahead of her.
"She definitely has the potential to go on to major international competition."

Emma's performance was one of the first British women's titles brought back to Huntingdon for five years.
A total of six Huntingdon girls participated in the championship. Emma impressively finished in eighth position in the all-around competition with a good performance on the floor as well as her vault triumph.
Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle won the overall event, winning every other discipline apart from the vault.
In the junior category Marissa King, 15, competed superbly to take fourth place overall and won a silver medal on the beam.
Hall said: "The results the girls produced stamp Huntingdon as a major force in gymnastics. Now we're looking forward to the lead up to 2012 with renewed excitement.
"We really believe that some of our talented athletes may represent their country in the greatest sporting competition on the planet.
