Jamie Caldwell, right, was the top finisher from St Ives Cycling Club at the latest round of Milton Keynes Bowl road races.

Caldwell was narrowly beaten into second place in the third/fourth category race while Michael Watts finished eighth.

Meanwhile, the club's evening 10-mile time trial has begun with Steve Butterworth the latest winner in a time of 22 minutes, 56 seconds.

Dave Nelson won the Team Cambridge 25-mile time trial while Paul Davis was first St Ives man across the line in the recent open 10-mile time trial.
