Paxton's luck changed at the start of the second half when they grabbed two goals but Buckden stormed back with Joe Brooks grabbing another five, Louie Spicer completing a hat-trick and a goal for James Gould.

Ramsey had Max Wiskin score against Sawtry Blue Sox.

Huntingdon Rowdies came back from a goal down to beat Yaxley 7-4. Rowdies goals came via Tyrese Williams-Ali, Aaron Hiscock and Cobi Thomas-Brighton who all netted two plus a single from Jake Anthony.

Brampton Spartans held a slender one goal lead until late in the game thanks to keeper Euan Hamilton but Priory notched twice late on to run out 2-1 winners. Jordan Locke had given Spartans the lead.

Brampton and Priory played a great game of football with Brampton taking lead in first half. Two second half goals by Scott Lee gave Priory a 2-1 win.

U9

ST NEOTS Dark and Sky Blues played two games away at Letchworth. Stevan Shaw scored twice in game one but the match finished 2-2. Aeden Pearsall kept Saints in the game with some great saves after the hosts had taken the lead in the second game and Adam Minnis hit back with a fantastic hat-trick to give the visitors a 3-1 win.

Brampton Spartans visited Alconbury and came away with a 2-2 draw. Josh Matcham scored first for Spartan before Alconbury took a 2-1 lead. Quick thinking by Will Brackley gave him the equalier after the Alconbury keeper could only parry the first shot.

Ramsey had four goals from Joe McGuire against St Neots but it only gave them a 4-4 draw.

Hemingford Red enjoyed their visit to Somersham Gold with an 8-4 win Scores were level at 4-4 before the Reds ran in four late goals. Will Greatorex, George Connell, Jaden Rodgers, Sean Fowler and Joe Darrer were all on the score sheet for Hemingford.

U10

GREAT PAXTON found Stukeley Meadows in a mean mood as they crashed to an 8-0 defeat. Meadows scored direct from a corner after two minutes and never looked back and but for some good saves by Paxton keeper Rory Bristow, the score could have reached double figures. On the mark for Meadows was Sam Kingswell with four, harry Cox who netted a brace and Rizmer Capunitan and Jordan Thrift-Sommers.

Priory Parkside L and Priory Parkside C battled out for bragging rights and it was L that took the honours 5-0. Ollie Curliss-Ackrill bagged a brace and other goals came from Alex O'Hara and Cameron Harris.

Somersham Gold out-shone Brampton Reds and came home with a 3-0 win. Ryan Hampson gave Gold the lead at the break and further goals from Kieran Thompson and Adam Cooper completed the scoring.

Brampton Spartans Blue sneaked home 2-1 against a good St Ives Rangers side. It took a Nathan May goal and an Own goal to take the win.

U11

BRAMPTON Spartans and Little Paxton played out an entertaining 3-3 draw. Spartans had led 3-1 when Daniel Rey completed a hat-trick but the resilient Paxton fought back from 3-1 down to earn a share of the spoils.

Ramsey nicked a close result with a 3-2 result against Huntingdon Rowdies. Ramsey was indebted to Rowan Abraham who took a brace and Jordan Mays for the goals that gave them the points. Tomas Witheral had netted Rowdies first and George Smith the second but Ramsey held firm.

Godmanchester Rovers blasted 17 past Bluntisham Blasters who salvaged some pride with three consolation goals of their own. There were hat-tricks for Ashley Hehir, Jarred Sharp, Ellis Ogle and Greg Goodwin, a brace apiece for James Horrey and Peter Southee with Archie Maggs also on the score sheet.

U12

GODMANCHESTER Rovers B played host to Needingworth in what turned out to be a bad day for defenders. The visitors netted in the first minute and held the advantage to the break. In an all action second half both teams scored five goals, the Rovers goals coming from Kyle Nightingill with a hat-trick, Rory Pannell and Jordan Inglis but the visitors had the last laugh with a 6-5 win. Needingworth goals came from Tom Groome who found time and space for four with Tom Whincup and Sam Skinner bagging one apiece.

Priory Parkside E overwhelmed Stretham 8-2 with Shawn Maumbe bagging a hat-trick. Other goals came from Oliver Rae-Jallel and Matthew Allen who both took a brace from the game and a Callum Kent strike.

Buckden B beat visitors Cottenham 5-2 after going behind early on. Matt Melaine, Hadleigh Smyrk and Matt Cole gave them a 3-2 lead at the break and Sam Crane and Matt Smith rounded off the game in the second half.

Godmanchester Rovers A won by the odd goal in five when they visited Witchford.

Jack James, Haydon Noble and Elkanah Sibanda gave Rovers the goals that saw them win 3-2.

U13

WARBOYS put in a storming performance to defeat Cherry Hinton 4-2. James Alexander led the way with a brace and Bradley Whybrow notched a single. Goal-keeper Tayla Evans stepped up to score the fourth from the spot.

Ramsey went into the break against Sawston leading 2-0 thanks to a Luke Jenkins brace. Sawston fired on all cylinders in the second half and notched three to run out 3-2 victors.

U14

ALCONBURY held third placed Swaversey to a 1-1 draw with Glyn Smith on the mark to net for the hosts.

Hemingford had the better of a goalless first half against Little Paxton but it was Paxton who had the better of the second. Ryan Handsford and Sonny Butfoy notched one apiece before Hemingford bagged a late consolation.

U15

SOMERSHAM hit Priory Parkside for eight to keep an unbeaten run intact that stretches back to last November. Tyler McEwen found the net four times with Chris Hewitt bagging a hat-trick and Matthew Burroughs a single in the 8-0 win.

Huntingdon Rowdies ran out 4-2 winners against Histon with goals from Haydn Densley Goddard, Dan Moulds, Ollie Day and Lewis Hammond.

Ramsey were unlucky in a close result with March, Thomas Heyes notched the

consolation goal for the Ramsey in the 2-1 defeat.

U16

ALCONBURY saw off the challenge of a spirited Hundon Hawks team to win 2-1 with Alex Arnold coming up with the winner.

U17

SOMERSHAM and title contenders Chesterton fought out a terrific 1-1 draw.

Max Hutchings scored the equaliser for Somersham and it was Chesterton who appeared the happier to hold out for a point.

Girls Football

St IVES Rangers U12 girls made few mistakes as they beat Comberton Crusaders 12-0. Phoebe Webb opened the scoring and a brace each for Georgia Rebane and Tierney Poore gave Ives a 5-0 lead. Second half strikes from Rebane and Jorgie Hall with two apiece and single from Katie Hardy, Chloe Fegan-Webb and Poore who completed a hat-trick closed the scoring.
