ST Neots Dragon Boat team are encouraging ladies to get involved and are running Sunday sessions from April 28 at the rowing club in town.

Ladies team captain Jacqui Butterwick said: “We want these sessions to be a fun way for ladies to get outdoors, meet new people, and get fit

“We intend on having music to motivate the crew in the boat and hope to be able to open up the rowing club bar for a social glass of wine after every session for those that would like to stay.”

There is no upper age limit to take part – although you do have to be over 14 – and training will cost £4.00 per session. To train with the club all visitors will need is sports clothing, a bottle of water, and something warm to put on after. “This is a water sport so you may get a little wet,” said Butterwick, pictured on the right with fellow St Neots Dragon Boat club members.
